Halloween Decorating as begun.....

While at the grocery store this morning, Alexa and I found medium size pumpkins for only $1.99 each. It was such a great price so I couldn't pass it up. This got me in the mood to start decorating, so this afternoon while Alexa was napping I got started. In the past I have decorated for "Fall" adding a few Halloween pieces. This allowed me to keep most of it up for Thanksgiving. This year I decided to just decorate for Halloween now and to change it all up for Thanksgiving later.
My family loves when I decorate for the seasons or a specific holiday. I think they enjoy the change in scenery. I know I do.
Now this is just the beginning. I still have lots more to make. I have found so much inspiration from my fellow bloggers, I now have a huge to do list. Enjoy what I have done so far.
I cut pictures from some scrapbook paper and place them in an old picture frame I found in the garage today. I backed the pictures with black and orange scrapbook paper.

My new Cricut "Artiste" cartridge helped my to create this fun banner. I used raffia to connect the flags and  tied ribbon I found at Target in the $1.00 bin.

I found a 1/2 burned white jar candle in a cabinet also and thought it would be fun to add scrapbook paper with a spider web design and a big spider using my Cricut Cartridge.

One of my favorite ideas for this year. These are my favorite candle pieces from PartyLite. I use them year around filling them with various seasonal items. I've used colored water, silk flowers, marbles, sea shells, candy and split peas. This time I filled them with spider webs and some spiders I made with..... you guessed it- my Cricut Cartridge.

This is my favorite Halloween piece, it is a spider web candelabra. I won it in a raffle basket a few years ago. and just fell in love with it.

I'm not quit sure what made me go so spider crazy in my decorating because I'm really afraid of real ones. Oh well. I hope you enjoy what I've done so far. Come back next week to see what else I add.

Until next time,
Karri
